It was a great experience to stay at palace estate. All the places near to it are great and worthwhile watching the butterflies, bats, different birds and insects were interesting to observe. The rare plants like cassava, avocado etc were exciting to watch. The rare species of plants which are economically imp were knowledge fetching. Food was excellent and nutritious we wish all the very best to u r fly.

My stay here has made me so Lazy that i feel like saying ditto to all the comments feedback u have got in this book. I request u to keep this rich tradition going for generations to come so that my grand children can experience the rich cultural heritage of coorg and the Kodavas. Also pls keep the place untouched by unnecessary luxuries. Let it remain pure and pristine for all nature lovers.

Coorg has always been close to my heart.Each visit has been unique experience. The home stay with Vincy and Prasad has lived up to its name - homestay. The food, hospitality and the ambience.
One can soak up in nature to its fullest and that’s what we did walking down to Kakabe, visit to temple and the food. The rain was blessing after the smeltering heat of visakapatanam.A monsoon visit was an experience i was looking for and PALACE ESTATE provided that.I am sure to be back soon.

My time in Coorg was the highlight of my 3 weeks in Southern India. It was such a pleasure to get away from the noise and dust of the cities and spend time in lovely surroundings with first-class hospitality. I shall spread the word about Palace Estate on my return home.

This is probably one of the best vacations we've had in a really long time. It does not get better and closer to nature than this. The treck to "Thadiyandamol" is amazing, the route quite sceneic, definitely strainers but not tough for first-timers. The views along the treck are really beautiful too, although we could not see Arabian Sea from the top; it being so cloudy, the walk was worth it. The sunrise and sunset views are too good.
Mr Prasad had been extremely helpful in everything we have asked for. The food is superb.

Gracious hosts, great food, sceinic trails - what more can you ask for. I could spend days here sitting in the verandah looking at the distant hills and the sky, sipping coffee, and reading a book. Sometimes in the life there comes a time and place, which completely takes you by surprise and leaves a lasting impression; the "Palace Estate" is one such destination, which gave me not just relaxed soothing experience, it gave my peace, knowledge of culture. I am coming to the end of my 9 month world trip, but its only since staying 3 weeks at Palace Estate that I am switched off and relaxed. The effortless hospitality, patience and good humour shown by prasad, vincy to all guests is remarkable as is the homely & welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding, until I visit again next I will be salvating at the thought of grapefruit chutney , radish chapattis and payasam. It's a fortunate thing that I'am blessed with a fast metabolism and unbelievable greed. In respect to the guests, I have met some lovely people, although one or two have clearly spent too long in the Indian sun. I want to thank everyone here. If not next year, the year after I will return.

I think this blend of nature & traditional , heartfelt hospitality is unique & irresistible & Palace Estate will always be one of the best places I have stayed during my travels in India and abroad. I greatly appreciate the way in which the Apparanda family blended their traditional 'Kodava' lifestyle with a 'homestay' that is ecologically friendly & that respects the surroundings- the wonderful western ghats eco-system- which is one of the top 10 ecological hotspots of the world. The fantastic food 9 Such as rolled up pancakes),the beautiful décor of the rooms, the willing hospitality of Prasad+ Vincy, the marvelous coffee will always remain in the memories.

This is an unbelievably beautiful place. I loved the birds, mountains, forest , waterfalls. I have never, in ten years of traveling in India, experienced such a warm welcome, hospitality and good food as that provide in Palace Estate. I feel truly blessed to come to this place. I shall be back.

When stepped out of the car around 19.00 hrs and saw the golden full moon next to the coconut tree, I knew I arrived at the right place. The warmth, the hospitality, personal attention and excellent home food is something I never came across during my travels any where in the world. We are so happy that we decide to come to Palace Estate, even if it was too short, we are happier still that we choose this place. Everyone traveling through South India stop here to see a very different India than that you see in the big cities. Palace Estate has been a wonderful stop on our trip through India. A beautiful house, lovely garden, beautiful mountains ,view from the room gave the feeling that we are in heaven. we feel truly blessed with the opportunity to come and enjoy the stay here, getting to know a wonderful family and their culture.
